  10. The term “grilling” …
    The term “grilling” and “barbecuing” have different meanings in different countries. What Americans call “grilling” is generally referred to as “barbecuing” in the UK, Australia, and sometimes Canada. The term “BBQ grill” is correct in that sense. In these countries, the term “grilling” alone usually refers to what Americans call “broiling”.

    barbecuing is slow cooking over an indirect heat source which can be done on a charcoal grill if it is big enough. i use montreal steak seasoning on my burgers and get rave reviews every time

    The only things that goes into my burgers are salt, pepper and a bit of garlic, no stupid left coast flavorings, otherwise it’s not a burger, its meatloaf. The chef never referred to it as a “BBQ grill”. This chef has an education, unlike whoever edited this post. They don’t know squat about cooking. There is no such thing as a BBQ grill. Barbeque and grilling are two opposite ends of cooking meat. Anyone that refers to cooking on a charcoal grill as BBQ is too stupid to comment on cooking.
