I have seen two types of grills in parks in NY, large and small. However, I have curious if these sizes are standard across the United States. Thank you for your help in advance.
To be clear, I am talking about the grills that are mounted in the ground. The square black grills that are there permanently.

You’re talking about the permanent grills on pedestals found in parks, and they can be a various sizes, but really the variety isn’t all that great. What you find in your park is probably found in parks all across the country since park departments probably buy from the same source.

There are two sets of holes, one is shaped like a flower which the manual says its the internal air temp sensor, but what about the other set of holes?

Plus if anyone knows what the set of rubber slots are just above the handbrake, please tell.

Those holes are for the microphone for OnStar. If the car doesn’t have OnStar then the microphone is left out.

If you are talking about the small rectangular area with slots in it, next to the handbrake and above the ignition switch then that is a coin holder.

best way is to run it for about 45 minutes at a low heat to burn off all the summers residual goo.
Let it cool down till it’s safe to handle.
When it’s cool enough to handle take some cooking oil on a wad of papertowells and apply to the grille surfaces on BOTH sides.
disconnect the gas bottle(make sure it’s turned off. cover it up and you should be good to go.

Remove it to get a better look at it and do some bending and shaping with tool, like a pair of pliers.
Or replace it.
Those clamps are not very good.

There is alot of wind flowing through car grills at high speeds that is used to cool the engine. Is there a technology that also uses it to power the engine or the car?

Some of the air goes through the radiator and around the engine and the airconditioning condenser to assist with cooling. Soe is breathed in by the engine for operation. Some flows through the cabin to provide air flow. When stopped the flow might be increased by various fans, but once travelling along the road the airflow from the movement exceeds the flow from fans.

I recently ordered a pair of sterling silver grills (Which if you don’t know are the pieces of jewelry rappers place on their teeth) and I’m a heavy smoker. I’m wondering what smoke from cigarettes will do to the grills. They are solid .925 sterling silver with cubic zirconia rocks installed. I guess to simplify my question–What will cigarette smoke do to sterling silver metal?
How long would it take for noticeable damage to occur? Would it be permanent? If not, how could I reverse the damage?

Tar from cigarettes gets on everything. You know how your fingers can get sticky after smoking? That stuff is going to be all over your grills.
