added it to a pizza I was reheating in the microwave. The grill was kind of burnt so I didnt try to clean it right away. I just poured some water on and forgot about it. A couple of days later when I remembered to clean the grill it had worms crawling across the surface. I’ve never seen anything like that. Does it mean these creatures were in the meat and survived the cooking process? And that I ingested some of them? And I’m going to wind upgetting trichinosis or something?
Grown-up answers only please. I’m freaking.

No. It just means the damp meaty water attracted flies that laid eggs, and those are the larvae.

You want the grill extremely hot for steaks. Dont overcook the steaks. Also it depends on the cut and quality of the beef/marbling. Obviously a filet is going to be more tender than a flank steak… Also let the steaks rest for a couple minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.

If are are cooking tough cuts of steak they will benefit from spending some time in a marinade with fruits that have enzymes capable of tenderizing (papaya,Pineapple, mango(I think) would be some examples).

You can get pannini grills, sandwich grills or you can make your own by using a grill pan and putting a preheated cast iron pan on top.
There are so many new George Foreman type grills and panini grills out there right now. You should visit your local supermart and check them out! They are very reasonably priced! Or in my house we have a big flat grill pan that we use on the oven… It only cooks one side at a time though.

I have the inside toater, over , broiler I was wonder can I cook the lamb shoulder blade chop in that and how with what type of side need a easy good way in details please

BROILED LAMB BLADE CHOPS

INGREDIENTS

2 lamb blade (shoulder) chops, about 3/4-inch thick
2 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
2 teaspoons dried rosemary
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Place chops in a shallow bowl in one layer. Add remaining ingredients, except salt. Rub into chops and turn several times to get all sides rubbed. Let set at room temperature for 15 to 30 minutes. Preheat broiler to high. Pat chops with paper towels to remove excess moisture and large pieces of garlic. Season both sides with salt. Place about 4 inches from heat and broil for 4 minutes. Turn and broil other side another 2 minutes. Remove, tent with foil, and let rest for about 5 minutes before serving.

Note: The cooking time suggested is for medium-rare to medium, and depends on the intensity of the broiler. Adjust the cooking time as needed and for desired doneness.

I make baked potatoes to go with it.

Hello, all. I just purchased a Uniflame 10,000 BTU Single Burner Portable Gas Grill from Walmart. From the reviews, the grill does not come with a propane tank and after doing some research, I found the Coleman 16.4oz tanks online. My question is, being that I have a 10,000 BTU grill, how long on average will the tank last me? I will be camping with my family (Myself, Wife & 3 kids) for 4 nights & 3 days and we will be grilling for most of our meals. I read on here that those tanks usually last about an hour with the heat on high but just want to be sure. I don’t think we will be grilling for an hour each time we eat. The campsite we are going to also refills tanks, I am not sure if they can fill up the small 16.4oz tanks, but would rather be safe than sorry and have enough fuel to grill for our time there. How many tanks do you think I will need? Thanks so much in advance!!!

The 16.4oz tank on a grill that large will last about 1 hour at full power. Get several canisters for the weekend or buy your self one of those smaller lpg tanks they come in varying sizes from 2 to 10 gallons and all for about the same price so get the biggest one that fits your travel needs.

I’m looking into getting my boyfriend one for father’s day to take with him 4 wheeling. I just want to make sure they work as well as a regular grill and how often you have to replace the tanks?

For vehicle camping, Coleman gas grills work great! They don’t work quite like the gas grill that you have in the backyard at home but they do allow you to easily cook up a good meal without having to build a campfire. Depending on the length of the outing, usually one tank is sufficient in my experience.

Your boyfriend should be able to secure the grill to the back of his four-wheeler with just a couple of bungee cords. Your boyfriend is a lucky man…nothing says I LOVE YOU like good camping gear!

Happy Trails!

I bought a portable mini grill but it needs to sit on a table to be a reasonable height. Target has a fold up wrought iron table that’s the perfect size for it. My only concern is the table might get hot since it’s metal. The grill does have "feet" but they are also metal so I am assuming they will carry heat. Will this table work or will I have to use wood?

I think that either table should work well. Heat will rise and the feet under the grill will give it space for air to pass through and keep it from getting to hot for either the metal or wood table. The portable grill of this type is usually made to set on a table and provide this kind of protection.
