Any tips for cooking steak on an electric grill??
lightly rub it with oil, then salt and pepper, place the gill on med high, and sear it, do not flip it more than once, you want a nice crust on it.

Cook it slow and low, LOL Cook on medium heat is what I do, no matter how I cook it.

Happy Grilling!!!
Bash it about a bit with a tenderisering mallet and then add some seasoning. Any of the seasonings recomended at the source below would be good from traditional steak seasoning to something more modern like jerk seasoning.

Put a little oil on the grill first, season steak and fry at med. heat until well browned on both sides. Unless you like it rare, then reduce time.

Steaks are NEVER cooked slow and low( that is BBQ) they are seared at the highest temp possible for the shortest amount of time. to achieve the doneness required for your palate!
Get that grill screaming HOT~ rub a little olive oil on your steak( NOT THE GRILL) season to taste cook it FAST!!!!
if your in doubt buy a meat thermometer
allow it to sit for about 10 minutes after cooking to keep it juicy and flavorful. and remember there is carry over cooking time when meat is cooked it always gets a little hot on its own ( about 5-10 degrees) so don’t over cook. Enjoy.

I use my George Foreman grill,
1st I marinate my steak in Italian dressing for 10 min then place on grill 4 min each side, then I cut off grill and let rest. Usually I get a done steak. Or I season with grill seasonings and grill for 3 min each side and I get a med done. If I want a less done steak it’s 2 min on each side and let rest. Always let your steak rest a couple of minutes before u cut into so that juice don’t escape, and leave u with a dry steak.
