How do I disconnect a gas grill from the gas tank when its been outside for a while and is stuck?

Its a standard gas grill like we have throughout the USA. The hose runs from the grill to the tank. Its one of those tanks you can get refilled at the convenience store. The connector on the hose is stuck on the tank.

Don’t forget that gas connections have a LEFT HAND THREAD, that is, the opposite of anything else.

(later) yes Bullfrog, WD40 or plusgas

  3. I think keni probably hit on your problem. With left-handed threads, you think you are loosening a connection but you are actually tightening it.. vice-versa. IF the connection still won’t budge, I don’t think putting a little squirt of WD-40 would hurt?
