Should you call a plumber to install a new gas grill?

I bought my husband a gas grill for Christmas. We have gas heat. I heard that I should contact a licensed plumber to connect it to the gas line, but that seemed odd to me. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

In the UK, plumbers and gas fitters are often qualified to do the same job.

  3. ok i guess i better step in, you call whoever is licensed,
some plumbers are and some hvac people are, i personally am
licnsed and i am hvac, but whoever you call you ask them if they are
specifically licensed to gas line a grill and you ask them if their insurance
company covers them working on gas, you see most people doing this work
dont realize that unless they have specific gas coverage they are not covered.
