Two reasons:

1. Obama is still in his "honeymoon" period.

2. The News reporters learned one hard lesson
during the Campaign: If any of them peeve off
the messiah by asking him either a hard question or a question that would put him on the spot, THEY WILL FIND THEMSELVES black-balled from all future information, they will be
threatened and harrassed along with their spouse AND children, their homes and cars will
be sitting ducks for attack, they will find themselves audited by the IRS, – if they are divorced with kids they will find themselves challenged to have their visitation rights taken away, they will not find work ANYWHERE, they
will have vicious and unfounded assaults on their
person by way of horrible rumors and outrageous
accusations.
AM I SAYING that reporters are nice simply because they are afraid??? No, they mostly kneel and bow at Obama’s presence to the point where I would like to vomit, but what I’m saying
is that they know full-well that any idea they may
have of exposing any truth about Obama is quickly thrown to the wayside because they will
be literally destroyed – work, family, maybe even
their freedom.
The radical left (of whom now runs our entire
Government) do not like those who oppose them, and just like Adolph Hitler, one of their
role models, they will erradicate the opposer rather than have any decent discussion or debate with them; leftists do not debate because they lose all debates since they lack
common sense; its like trying to reason with a
small but incorridgeable defiant child. They will
lash out at you while they cover their ears and
go: la la la la la llllaaaallalalaa la la la la

yes they did specially Ed Henry from CNN asked him repeatedly why president showed his angry about AIG bonuses earlier of the week..and he claimed that Geitner and him were all knew about these before.. his response was" I would like to know what i m talking about"

It’s been a while ago when a reporter or 2 actually got him on a tough question. Didn’t you notice the other night when he said I’ll take questions now – Then he mumbled "Let’s see now I’ve got a list" then he called on the first reporter on the list. (Knowing exactly what the reporters on that list were going to ask.) Totally staged and scripted. Watch his next press conference – it happens every time.

You are mistaking civil behavior for asking easy questions. Just because right wing entertainers like Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly scream at people, insult them, and demand they respond to inflammatory rhetoric doesn't mean that real reporters can get away with that. The reporters who are allowed access are expected to behave civilly and ask sensible questions. If they start screaming like lunatics or acting like conspiracy wingnuts they and their organizations will never get asked back. ∠°)

Because Rahm Emanual controlled who could ask questions and what they could ask. CNN apparently was miffed because their reporters were not called on to ask a softball question.

It is quite obvious the questions were known ahead of time and the reporters ware chosen ahead of time. Obama isn't going to be put in the position of having to answer any HARD questions with out his teleprompter. Todays show with him taking questions from REAL Americans is another farce ... Do you really think he would tell us the real truth about anything anyway? Absolutely not!!! Very upsetting to know a lot of people still believe in him..very sad.

You ask tough questions and you lose access. No access means no job. Obama has been getting the kid glove treatment for an eternity. Nobody could kick the tires or check under the hood with this guy. Those Reverend Wright "scandals" were head fakes that were easy for him to swat away. The media fawns over him. But when Obama fails to bring back the happy days of recreational shopping and forever rising home prices, things will change.

grilled president recipe: one thin slice of obama, two dashes of idiocy from the right, a splash of reality from the left, grill for 5 minutes on each side…….

Perhaps you can get a journalist pass and ask those tough questions yourself. Why not?
