How do you entertain your guest while Grilling out for the holidays?

Your out side grilling while everyone just sits around. what do you do to entertain them while the food cooks?

Part of the secret is to have everything else ready beforehand.
Make up salads (potato, macaroni, etc.), dressing can be added last.
Or go pot-luck & have everyone bring a salad or dessert.
Make a fruit punch for the kids, put beer on ice, ahead of guests.
Commandeer some guests to serve drinks & kids to top-up snacks.

    We talk and drink.

    We play Washers, Horseshoes and Volleyball.

    Sometimes we will jump in the "kids" pool too.

    What else? What else?

    Have the music going.

    Music, beer, quoits, beer, pretty girls, beer, we also have an active bird feeder and a pond so people just like to look at the scenery. I also like to have them help in the kitchen (beer).

  4. Well the women are supposed to talk about about the flowers or the kids or something over glasses of wine. The guys are all supposed to stand around the grill with beer while the host cooks.

  6. Horse shoes is always fun, and if you have a pool,thumbs up to swimming for sure. Beer, wine, mixed drinks, chips, nuts and good conversation with friends and family.
