How many times can you use a cedar grilling plank of wood?

I am new with grilling on cedar planks and I don’t know if you can use them over and over or if you throw them away after each use.

He’s right….
Soak them in water first…. At least an hour in warm water.
(this also depends on the thickness of your boards)
And you can use them until they give up the ghost.. Or until there’s no more surface left ot they are no longer firm enough to support that LAST cooking session!

  1. Usually you toss them because you cannot get them clean. I normally wash them and salt them and then turn the used side over and use the other side that did not have the fish on it.

  2. They can be used again and again. Thye need to be soaked in water before use put it in the sink and place a can ontop to keep it submerged. As far as cleaning, bleach and rinse
