Whats the difference between propane and gas grills?

my apartment complex says propane only but I have a gas grill..can I not use it?

Technically, the gas grill would be connected to a natural gas line, the propane runs off a propane tank.

  3. most gas grills are propane. few are natural gas, if you do have one that uses naturale gas you can replace the orfice in the burner thus converting it to propane

  4. There is a difference in the jet sizes and the holes in the burners. One runs at a higher pressure and the two types of equipment are not interchangable. One runs on bottled gas and the other is designed for mains pressure gas. Hope this helps.

  7. To be safe, you might want to verify that your grill meets the requirements with the management of your apartment complex (it sounds like it does). Where we live the restrictions on grilling are city law, and not under the control of the apartment complex at all.
