I won a barbeque grill worth $269. I posted an ad on Craigslist and said, $125 or best offer. Should I ask for more? Less?
Should I post on Ebay, too? I don’t want to go through the trouble of mailing it, so it will be local pickup only. Not sure what to do.
if you don’t want the trouble of mailing it, craigslist is the way to go. in your listing, make it clear that the grill is brand new and unopened, and i say $200 or best offer is a good price, $125 is too low for something brand new.

I have a Grill Mate 50,000 BTU Barbecue with Reversible porcelain coated cast iron cooking grills with a Porcelain coated warming rack, how do I clean it ? I bought it in July, and im putting it away in the shed for the winter, how do I clean it ?
best way is to run it for about 45 minutes at a low heat to burn off all the summers residual goo.
Let it cool down till it’s safe to handle.
When it’s cool enough to handle take some cooking oil on a wad of papertowells and apply to the grille surfaces on BOTH sides.
disconnect the gas bottle(make sure it’s turned off. cover it up and you should be good to go.

My father has tinnitus from all the loud sounds that come along with being a firefighter. Today, he started complaining about how he can’t focus when he tries to barbecue because supposedly the smoke makes the ringing in his ears so much worse that he can’t focus on barbecuing. If the smoke is the problem, how can we make it less problematic when he’s barbecuing? Thank you.
You didn’t answer my main question.
get an electric barbecue grill

I’m going on a 3-days trip to lake tahoe with a friend and we plan to do bbq the whole time for 3 days by the lake.
*We have a lake house and a grill by the lake.
bacon wrap hot dog? interesting. yes we are going to buy some chicken drumsticks and thighs as well.
Upgrade the bacon wrapped hot dog to Bacon-Wrapped Sausages:

Ribs are easy to do, but just take longer than a steak to do them right. Make a batch or two of my memphis pork rub and slather the ribs with about 2 tbsp french’s mustard (it cooks off don’t worry) and 2-3 tbsp of my rub. Cook for 2 hours at 225°F and then wrap in tin foil for an hour. Pull them back out and cook until done (about 30-60 mins). You can easily tell when they’re done by picking them up w/ tongs and bounce them a little – they should crack/tear when ready.

If you’re a try-anything kind of barbecuer then you can try my bacon-wrapped-pork-wrapped-bacon – yeah, you read that right. Its an improvement on the Bacon Explosion. You’ll have to forgive my top picture, but your friends will rave about this. It goes fantastic w/ baked beans if you’re a fan.

My A/C return grills clamps enough to close but the side clips end up bending and don’t hold the entire grill securely. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I hate that the grill sags from the sides a little.
Remove it to get a better look at it and do some bending and shaping with tool, like a pair of pliers.
Or replace it.
Those clamps are not very good.

Are there any beaches in Long Island, New York that has a barbecue grill? I would prefer it if the beaches aren’t really crowded, but any bbq beach in Long Island is fine.
There is an area with barbecue grills at east end of Parking Field 6 at Jones Beach. It’s first come, first served, so the grills get taken fast.
Also take note: Field 6 is one the smallest of the Jones Beach’s parking fields, and gets filled very quickly. If you get there after 9:30 a.m. on Saturday or Sunday it’s likely to be full.

I have a propane BBQ grill that is Stainless Steel on the out side what would be the best product to clean the out side
I am a great fan of barkeepers friend but it is a bit of a light weight when it comes to a BBQ grill.
I would use quickleen-s which is much faster and removes burn and flame marks and restores minor scruffs and scratches over time. see http://www.steelcleaner.com for example

What other things are there that are small portable grill type things that are similar to the George Forman Grill ?
You can get pannini grills, sandwich grills or you can make your own by using a grill pan and putting a preheated cast iron pan on top.

There are so many new George Foreman type grills and panini grills out there right now. You should visit your local supermart and check them out! They are very reasonably priced! Or in my house we have a big flat grill pan that we use on the oven… It only cooks one side at a time though.
