I have a one burner grill can you still cook ribs on it?

it’s a small portable one long burner grill is there a way to cook ribs on it without messing up the ribs, if so can you give me a recipe for it.

It isn’t a recipe, but just a method. Ribs need slow moist cooking.
I start mine by par-boiling in water with a clove studded onion.
Cutting them into 3 bone sections will make handling easier.
Boil for at least 1/2 hour on low heat, until tender.
Finish by grilling over medium low flame, turning to brown sides.
Brush with BBQ sauce for the last 10 minutes, do not let burn.

BBQ SAUCE:
Fry a chopped onion in oil, over medium heat until soft.
Or you could chop up the onion used to par-boil the ribs.
Add can of tomatoes or tomato sauce or 1 cup of ketchup.
Mix in 2-3 tbsp of prepared mustard, or 1-2 tsp dry mustard.
Dissolve 1/4 cup of brown sugar or 2 tbsp of molasses.
Add 1-2 tbsp of whatever vinegar you like: malt, cider, balsalmic, etc.
Bring to a simmer & reduce, then brush over the ribs.

  1. Hey if you got a crock pot try that ribs are so tender and fall apart. One burner it will take to long and you will run out of fuel

  3. If it’s a full rack, you’ll probably have to cut them in half or even smaller. It should work though, as long as you have enough fuel.
